The School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS) offers innovative undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates programs as well as professional development programs that keep pace with todays leading industries. These programs range from graduate degree programs designed to prepare professionals for executive-level positions to undergraduate degree-completion programs to professional certifications.

Courses that Offer Flexibility and Convenience

SPCS students can tailor a program to meet their individual educational objectives. Our programs are offered in a variety of convenient formats. All of our undergraduate and graduate programs are built around a quarter system in which courses are offered in six-, eight-, and twelve-week terms. These shorter terms allow students to accelerate completion of their program while also taking short periods off when necessary for family or work. Most of our degree programs allow students to finish in less than two years, and many are scheduled to allow students to take one course at a time.

Our main Boston campus is a beautiful, award-winning, sixty-seven-acre campus of tree-lined walkways and grassy quads set in a dynamic, multicultural city that provides a wealth of academic, social, and recreational resources. Surrounding the campus are some of the world's leading corporate, health care, technological, and research organizations, as well as world-renowned venues for culture and entertainment. SPCS also offers programs in the Financial District and at our suburban campuses in Dedham and Burlington. In addition, our online programs make it possible to complete a program from outside the region. The University also houses a world-class library on the Boston campus, and the University is a member of the Boston Library Consortium and the Boston Regional Library System, offering students and faculty access to the region's collections.

Friendly Admissions, Where Experience Is What Counts

Admissions decisions at SPCS take into consideration the experience, knowledge, and motivation of adult students and working professionals, and are not focused solely on previous grades or performance on standardized tests. SPCS does not require GMAT, GRE, or MAT test scores for admission.
