ART 6505 4 Quarter Hours
Course Level CPS - Graduate
Description Designed for all levels of art instructors. Offers students an opportunity to explore and develop an understanding of how to render the human face and figure in oil paint. Begins from square one but moves quickly into more advanced techniques. As a means of connecting artistic practice to classroom instruction, discusses the Massachusetts state art standards and how they apply to the process used in this class. Also addresses assessment of those standards using specifically designed rubrics.
