Description A command of medical terminology is fundamental for anyone who aspires to work in the healthcare field. Throughout this course, students have an opportunity to explore the language of medicine, learning about the importance of word structure in medical fields. Examines the fundamentals of word analysis and construction, including root words, prefixes, and suffixes, all in the context of the anatomy and physiology of human body systems and healthcare systems. Seeks to provide the fundamentals of science and medicine through reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises focusing on technical terms used in medical terminology.
