Animal Behavior

Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Introduces the study of animal behavior. Starts with a discussion of the basic principles of the science. Requires completion of a research project using student-designed experiments and/or online resources and databases to mine behavioral data. Offers students an opportunity to work in the science of animal behavior by utilizing the principles and methods of quantitative studies of behavior with an emphasis on the scientific measurement of animal behavior through the techniques of observation, recording, and analysis.
