Description Discusses the threat of emerging infections from resistant organisms and the new threat of bioterrorism. Course material includes the biologic impediments to vaccine development and the evolving vaccine development strategies and formulations in response to bioterrorist threats. Emphasizes all current vaccine technologies, including therapeutic peptide vaccines, gene therapy, DNA vaccines, and new modulation/presentation pathways.
