Description Reviews new and exciting developments in the field of molecular biology. Explores the basis and applications of techniques such as DNA purification and isolation, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and genetic engineering, including protein purification. The classes have a lecture component to offer insights into the advantages/limitations of these technologies. This course complies with the framework of life sciences/biotechnology of the Massachusetts Department of Education.
