Description Examines methods of developing, supervising, motivating, and recognizing personnel; communicating effectively within an organization; as well as stress, conflict, and crisis management. Managers in law enforcement agencies face the challenge of managing both sworn and nonsworn personnel. Explores HRM topics such as collective bargaining, professionalism, motivation, training, productivity, and accountability.
