Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Introduces the origin, characteristics, and classification of soils, emphasizing important types found in southern New England. Provides an overview of important physical, chemical, and biological processes that affect the development of soils and discusses the role played by grain size, mineral type, and organic content of soils in controlling the migration of contaminants through the soil horizon.
