Introduction to Geographical Information Systems

Description Offers a hands-on introduction to the use of a geographic information system (GIS). Topics include spatial data collection; data accuracy and uncertainty; cartographic principles and data visualization; geographic analysis; and the legal, economic, and ethical issues associated with the use of a GIS.
