Forgotten Stories: Women in History

Description Offers students an opportunity to explore multiple ways to bring women into the U.S. history and the world history classroom, to expand their knowledge base about the experiences of women and the role of gender in history, and to reconsider the ways they organize and conceptualize history. Examines various resources that are available to help teach about women and gender in history: primary sources, biographies, literature, Web sites.
