Course Level Continuing Education
Description Covers the nontechnical aspects of incident management, including establishment of a computer incident response team (CIRT) capability, investigative techniques, preservation of evidentiary materials, conducting incident postmortems, and establishing relationships with external parties. In today’s business climate, quick and accurate handling of security incidents is critical. Organizations need to determine if a system outage is based on equipment or software failure or if it is truly under cyber attack.
