Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Offers students an opportunity to learn to create effective business and marketing materials using industry-standard desktop publishing software and concepts such as leading, picas, points, baselines, and em and en spaces. Throughout the course, basic graphic design principles are presented and reinforced. Describes how to select effective, cost-efficient designs for various publication types, taking into consideration the use of color, paper size, and type; the desired distribution methods for the document; and how to apply professional typesetting techniques to desktop publishing efforts.
