Description Cloud computing and web services are creating a huge demand for IT professionals to manage large-scale infrastructure and vast networks. This course offers students an overview of theoretical and practical aspects of distributed systems and cloud computing. Examines frameworks, techniques, and existing IT solutions to manage internet services at different levels (infrastructure, platform, and software) and to support the key characteristics of cloud computing, including virtualization, requirement for high reliability and security, extendibility, and versatility.
