Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Introduces the physics of motion, forces, and interactions. Explores these concepts in and around the Boston environs. Explores the concepts of velocity and acceleration in a manner that allows students to interact with these concepts and challenges students’ preconceptions. Introduces forces and their resultant accelerations and explores their relationships. Covers forces in two dimensions and considers examples of circular motion. Explores and uses the concepts of work and energy to study various examples. Uses relevant applications of all the concepts to motivate the discussions.
