PHY 1041 5 Quarter Hours
Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Explores vectors, kinematics in one and two dimensions, Newton’s Law, work and energy, momentum, rotational kinematics and dynamics, electric potential, and AC and DC circuits. Intended for nonengineering technology students and cannot be used for credit toward technology degrees in the Lowell Institute School. Some departments may accept PHY 1041 and PHY 2043 as their requirements for a year of physics. Before choosing this sequence, contact the school you wish to apply to for their preference for a physics course sequence.
