Description Examines modern relations between the United States and United Kingdom. Is English the only thing we have in common? Do we even have that in common? Covers the comparative political systems and their recent developments. Includes the Marshall Plan, NATO, nuclear developments and disarmament, economic and cultural relations. Analyzes the post–cold war world, the impact of international terrorism, the balance of power, the global economy, and the relations between the United States and the European Union. Combines teaching, debate, and video to stimulate students and make them question their existing norms.
