Description Examines increasing globalization of the economic, social, political, and cultural life of our contemporary world. The world is changing dramatically, and educated people must learn about the nature of this change. Focuses on the causes, character, consequences, and implications of globalization. Topics include economic globalization, global culture, global governance, cultural politics, modernity, and postmodernity.
