Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Quarter
Description Analyzes the writing and preparation of medical data and research results for publication. The healthcare industry needs accurate, informative technical writing. Addresses ethical issues in authorship and publication; presentation of quantitative data, such as tables and graphs; and structure of medical journal articles. Offers students an opportunity to practice writing the introduction, methods, results, and discussion sections of a research paper and creating abstracts and summaries. Utilizes the peer review process.
