Graphic Communication and Production

Students learn the design and production processes of printed materials. The course examines the designer’s role in concept development and layout and introduces reprographics, typesetting, printing and color techniques, paper, and bindery methods. The scheduling and economic factors involved in bringing a piece to print are also addressed.
