Advanced American Sign Language Proficiency 1
ASL4301 / 4 q.h.
Students continue vocabulary building, refinement of grammatical principles, and practice of effective communicative strategies used to make oneself understood. The course focuses on the structure and use of connected discourse. Students begin to converse in a clearly participatory fashion and to narrate and describe, linking sentences together smoothly.
Prerequisite: ASL 4202 Intermediate American Sign Language 2.
