Nuts and Bolts of IT: Hardware, Software and Maintenance

Students in this course will learn the basics of computer hardware, software, networks, and simple maintenance. Students will work both singly and in small groups to install hardware and software. They will learn about installing upgrades to the operating system. They will learn about networks and its variety of uses in an educational setting. Students will also learn basic troubleshooting tips and techniques for both Macintosh and PC computers.
