Designing Effective Professional Development Models

ED3643 / 4 q.h.

Participants will research effective models of professional development. Students will work in groups investigating common principles of effective professional development programs incorporating the latest research on addressing student’s learning styles, and share their results with the class. Using these principles each team will then design an activity, including an evaluation component, to address a common need they have identified in their school districts.

This course is not offered during the fall term. Winter registration opens October 27, 2008.
