Designing Model Tech Plans

In this course, participants will examine model technology plans and the role of technology as a facilitator of meaningful reform in the teaching-learning process. Students will work in groups to research, design, and share assessment instruments to determine a district’s hardware, software, networking, staffing, and professional development needs. They will also work in groups to create and present a model technology plan based on research-based models of technology use tied to state frameworks and local curriculum goals.

This course is not offered during the fall term. Winter registration opens October 27, 2008.
