Introduction to Computer Hardware

ETC4315 / 3 q.h.

Offers students the opportunity to extend their basic knowledge of computer organization with hands-on experience in the organization and operation of microcomputer systems and peripherals. Understanding of these systems is accomplished through the operation of machine language and assembly coding using desktop simulation. Students are presented with the physical and electrical characteristics of various microprocessor peripherals, busses and memory systems.

Prerequisite: ETC 4314 Introduction to Computer Organization.
