Computer Concepts

This course extends many of the fundamental subjects from previous architecture and computer hardware courses. The course will discuss parallel processing, multiprogramming, and multicomputing as options for varying computing environments. Memory systems, including paging and cache subsystems, will be described. Several different complex peripheral devices will also be presented.

Prerequisite: ETC 4514 Computer Architecture.
