International Finance

FI4450 / 3 q.h.

This course begins by studying the international financial environment in which organizations operate, including currency and exchange rate issues. It then explores international aspects of investment planning and financing decisions made by multinational firms. Managing risk caused by international economic, translation, and transaction exposures is a focus of the course.

Prerequisites: at least 80 q.h. including FI 4302 Financial Management and ECN 4111 Microeconomics.
