Introduction to Politics

Students learn about contemporary political science including consideration of basic concepts in political analysis, the role of government institutions, political representation, political ideologies, and the scope and methods of political science. The course deals with the nature of politics and such topics as legislatures, executives, judicial systems, and political parties.
