Public Relations Research Methods

This course emphasizes the value and uses of research in the public relations planning and evaluation processes. It will look at how research is used by public relations practitioners, marketing, and the news media. Designed to give students a working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Students will be introduced to marketing research and understand marketing’s purpose and importance to public relations planning.
Prerequisite: PR 3100 Introduction to Public Relations, or equivalent.
