Course Level CPS - Undergraduate Semester
Description Covers the fundamental chemistry of biomolecules such as proteins, enzymes, lipids, carbohydrates, and nucleotides. Studies important molecular structures and their role in metabolic cycles. Introduces metabolism and catabolic and anabolic pathways of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleotide metabolism. Discusses the importance of nutrition and how it affects metabolic pathways, genetic disorders, and mechanisms of action of various drugs that affect these pathways.
