International Student Markets

EDU 7261 3 Quarter Hours
Course Level CPS - Graduate
Description Examines the characteristics and drivers that influence the needs and interests of various student markets, as well as current strategies being employed domestically and internationally to recruit and retain international students. International students have become a major factor in education markets that include specialized preparatory schools to major research universities. Many schools have relied on international students, who generally pay full tuition, to meet tuition revenue targets. As the world economy continues to globalize, and the importance of knowledge-driven industries expands, the importance of understanding and competing in global education markets continues to increase.

Students should refer to the CPS Prerequisite Table for course prerequisite and corequisite information.
