Description Explores the nutritional requirements of the healthy child from infancy through adolescence. Covers the assessment, treatment, and management of a variety of pediatric diseases and conditions, including prematurity, growth failure, food allergies and intolerances, developmental disabilities, diabetes, and obesity. Explores the global issues affecting children today, including malnutrition, obesity, and environmental health.
