Program Format
On this page you will find the format of courses you will take in the Pre-MBA Program. In addition, you can find out the starting dates, application deadlines, insurance charges and tuition fees. You should be aware that Northeastern University has the right to change tuition and insurance charges at any time.

Fall Semester courses begin with an emphasis on obtaining the necessary English skills and background knowledge to understand business communication in the Western world. The Spring Semester courses then transition toward higher-level business-related content and the acquisition of higher-language skills. Finally, in Summer Session One (optional), the course prepares students for MBA-level communication and interaction.

"Even though the program is very diverse with international students from many countries, we learned from eachother every single day. The instructors are incredible! They are willing to help with every question that you have. I'm happy that I mad the decision to join the Pre-MBA program"
— Pitchaya Hiranpradit, Pre-MBA 2008

Paying Your Tuition Bill
You do not have to pay your semester tuition before the start of your classes. You can wait for 2 or 3 weeks after classes begin until you receive your bill from the university. You can then pay by check, international transfer or credit card. You may also join the Tuition Payment Plan. You will have to pay a fee of $35 for this service. Your total bill will be broken down into four monthly payments. You will receive a bill each month of the semester, which you then pay. You will receive information how you can join the payment plan in July.

Receiving Your I-20
Your I-20 will be ready 2 weeks after you have applied to and been accepted to the Pre-MBA Program. The ELC will mail your I-20 to you using the regular mail service. If you wish to receive your I-20 faster through Federal Express or some other international express company, please send a credit card number and expiration date to the ELC office by e-mail. We will arrange for international express shipping and send you a tracking number so that you can check on the location and delivery time of your I-20.

Please be aware that tuition, fees and insurance are subject to change

"If someone doesn't know a lot about business, this class is a good choice. Sometimes, too much homework made me crazy, but if you do your best you can learn so many things!"
— Taeho Kim, Pre-MBA 2008
