Applying to University Portal Program

1. Print and fill out the application form
2. Print out and complete the Declaration of Finance.
3. Please write a 1-2 page Personal Essay.
    a. describe your academic background in high school
    b. describe your most challenging experience.
    c. describe why you want to study at an American university.
4. Please mail:
    a. The application
    b. the completed declaration of finances
    c. bank statement
    d. Personal Essay
    e. High School Transcript in English
    f.  Xerox Copy of High School Diploma
    g.  Letter of Recommendation from a teacher
    h. a $250 non-refundable tuition deposit.

Students who require the issuance of an I-20 should leave sufficient time to obtain these documents to be processed. I-20s are usually issued and mailed to applicants within two weeks after the ELC receives all application materials.
