We know that employers are constantly vying to find, develop, and keep the talent that will grow and advance their organizations. We believe that creating innovative, customized solutions is the key to organizational growth and employer partnerships. Northeastern’s College of Professional Studies is uniquely positioned to help you accomplish this goal. Since 1898, we have made it our mission to engage with the world in order to solve problems and lead change.

Educating Your Workforce

Standard degree and certificate programs

At the College of Professional Studies, we develop unique, integrated, and stackable programs with flexible delivery options that relate skills, experiences, certificates, and credentials. CPS has 24 master’s degree programs and 28 graduate certificate programs. Employees can also complete an undergraduate degree through CPS. The Fast-Track option provides a path for students who have earned previous credits to complete their undergraduate degree in 18 months.

Many CPS degrees and certificates can be completed 100% online. Most traditional on-campus classes are held in the evening to accommodate work schedules. As part of a partnership, CPS can provide a tuition discount, waive admissions fees, and help to manage enrollment.

Professional development

CPS offers professional development opportunities in a variety of topics and a wide array of delivery options. These targeted trainings can provide much-desired skills to staff and help with staff retention. Trainings can even be customized to be credit-bearing and used later toward a degree or certificate. Classes can be offered online, on-site, on campus, or via a hybrid approach. Some examples of trainings include: Building Teams, Grant Writing, and How to Mitigate Project Risk.

Cohort programs

There is also the opportunity to deliver credited courses, graduate certificates, or degree programs in a cohort model. Cohorts would be comprised of only your staff members, and course assignments and class discussions would be centered around topics that are directly related to work performed at your organization.
