Amy StratmanAmy Stratman is a faculty member in the Graduate Education programs, the director of Field Placement, a senior fellow, and the University licensure officer in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. She fosters school-university partnerships that support practice-oriented student teaching experiences in underserved public schools. Ms. Stratman coordinates the placement of student teachers throughout the program, collaborates with MAT colleagues to integrate a core vision of education into all aspects of the program, and serves as a liaison with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She also served as the University’s associate director of Professional Development Programs and as the program manager for the Institute in Education.

Previously, Ms. Stratman taught world history, American history, and microeconomics at Lexington High School in Massachusetts.
