Carol YoungCarol J. Young is a faculty member in the Graduate Education programs, including the Doctor of Education program. Her research and teaching interests include research processes based in practice, research project development, theoretical foundations of educational research, fundamentals of research, and instructional leadership for the 21st century. 

Previously, Dr. Young was a visiting lecturer at Bridgewater State University with a teaching focus on curriculum development, school law, systems planning, and educational personnel, in addition to supervising licensure internships. She also served as the assistant superintendent of human resources for the Plymouth Public Schools and the Old Rochester Regional School District in Massachusetts, where she had earlier worked as the director of special education. Dr. Young began her teaching career as a special needs teacher in the Avon Public Schools.
