Constance Emerson, MBA

Constance EmersonConstance Emerson is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Master of Science in Project Management program. Her research interests are portfolio management, project office implementation, and the recovery of troubled projects. She also advises part-time faculty and participates in the development of new curriculum initiatives. Ms. Emerson is a certified Project Management Professional and a member of the Project Management Institute. She is currently pursuing her EdD in Organizational Leadership at Northeastern.  

Ms. Emerson has more than 35 years of experience in managing projects, including her role as Principal at ProjectMAPS, a consultancy focused on enabling organizations to optimize the delivery of projects. She has worked with companies from the insurance, healthcare, retail, publishing, and engineering fields, including Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, Cambridge Health Alliance, and L.L. Bean. Ms. Emerson also taught project management at the master’s level for 10 years at Educational Services International in Arlington, VA.
