Ian HudsonIan Hudson is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College’s undergraduate finance degree programs. He teaches finance courses, including Financial Management, Investment Principles, and International Finance. His current research interests include investment analysis, personal financial planning, trading, risk management, and behavioral finance. Dr. Hudson is a regular contributor to the financial press and business talk radio, providing expertise in the Boston Business Journal, Reuters, U.S. News & World Report, and The Rich Roffman Show.

Previously, Dr. Hudson was professor and chair of the Master of Science in Finance program at New England College. He implemented curriculum review and course development, and taught courses such as Financial Derivatives, Insurance and Risk Management, Financial Ethics, and Investment Management. He taught similar courses as a member of the finance graduate faculty at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Hudson served on the Program Committee for the Financial Management Association and the Southern Finance Association and was published in the Journal of Business and Economic Research. His experience in practical finance includes wealth management and trading positions at Morgan Stanley and Southern Energy.
