Jane Lohmann

Jane S. Lohmann is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Graduate Programs in Education, primarily the Doctor of Education program. Her research interests include the facilitation of complex dialogue across varied human perspectives in the online environment; school climate and student connectedness; positive youth development; and reengaging disenfranchised youth in school. Dr. Lohmann chairs the following committees within the doctoral program: Curriculum Alignment, Doctoral Thesis, and Faculty Screening, and she co-chairs the Curriculum, Teaching, Learning and Leadership concentration.

Previously, Dr. Lohmann was a high school teacher and an outdoor and wilderness educator. During her time at Harvard as a doctoral student, she served as an editorial board member for the Harvard Educational Review.
