Jennifer Yufeng Qian is a faculty member in the Graduate Education programs, including the Doctor of Education program. Dr. Qian’s research interests include quantitative research methods; design, development, and assessment of technology-enhanced teaching and learning; and assessment of English for Speakers of Other Languages. Her most recent publications include the article “3D Multi-User Virtual Environments: Promising Directions for Science Education” in The Science Educator; “New Media Literacy in 3D Virtual Learning Environments,” a book chapter in the Handbook of Research on New Media Literacy at the K–12 Levels: Issues and Challenges; “Meaningful Learning with Wikis: Making a Connection,” a book chapter in Wired for Learning: An Educator’s Guide to Web 2.0; and “An Investigation of Current Online Educational Games,” a book chapter in Handbook of Research on Effective Electronic Gaming in Education.

Previously, Dr. Qian worked as an associate professor of education at St. Thomas University, as an assistant professor of instructional technology at Grand Valley State University, and as a lecturer at Lehigh University, SUNY at Buffalo, and Beijing Capital University of Economics and Business.
