Nancy Elizabeth Young is a faculty member in the Graduate Education programs. In the Doctor of Education program, Dr. Young teaches in the Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership concentration. Her research interests include instructional design, particularly financial decision making for educational leaders, transforming education systems, and community engagement. She also serves as a doctoral adviser for the scholar-practitioner community.

Previously, Dr. Young was a virtual instructional design instructor in the master's program in Educational Leadership at Concordia University, a doctoral mentor in professional practice at Boston College, and an instructor at the University of Vermont and the College of St. Joseph in Rutland, Vermont. She also has served in numerous administrative roles, including superintendent of schools, principal, guidance counselor, and teacher, in public schools across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
