Patty GoodmanPatricia Goodman is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Master of Science in Corporate and Organizational Communication program where she develops curricula and teaches Organizational Communication, Ethics in Communication, and Group Dynamics.

Dr. Goodman’s research interests include adult learning and communications, specifically intercultural communication, cultural intelligence, cross-generational communication, self-directed learning, team learning, and transformative learning. She is a member of the Faculty Academic Council’s Faculty Development and Support Committee and Vice-Chair for the 2016 Faculty Development Conference for the College of Professional Studies. Dr. Goodman is a CQ (Cultural Intelligence) Certified Facilitator, trained at the Cultural Intelligence Center, and a member of the Association for Talent Development and the Philanthropic Educational Organization.

She has held various leadership roles within the social service field from correction and judicial services, mental health, secondary education, higher education, and executive education. Dr. Goodman taught for six years as a part-time faculty member at Northeastern and Webster Universities and is the Principal Coach for P.A.G. Coaching & Associates, facilitating professional development training and counsel for nonprofit leaders, and professional speaking training sessions for individuals through the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Additionally, Dr. Goodman has acted as Conference Proposal Reviewer for the Academy of Human Resource Development and the Eastern Academy of Management.
