The Electrical Foundations course is designed for the student with little or no knowledge of electrical theory. This course will provide the knowledge base needed by the novice electrical student. Students will achieve a basic understanding of electrical theory, and its application to devices, circuits, and wiring methods. The electrical code and safe work practices will be studied. Both the development of the topic of electricity and the study of the subject are continuing processes.
