AFP Learning System: Treasury, Instructor-Led Professional Exam Preparation Evening Program

The AFP Learning System is a general professional development course that will prepare students to take the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Exam. The CTP designation sets the standard in the finance industry and is a symbol of excellence Based on the CTP body of knowledge and written by experts in field, the AFP Learning System is a program designed for two audiences: 1. Individuals who want to broaden their knowledge and skills in the area of corporate treasury and cash management 2. Financial professionals who want to prepare for the AFP’s Certified Treasury Exam The program meets 1 night per week for 10 weeks from 6pm-9pm. What You Will Learn • Utilize corporate cash efficiently • Maintain a company’s ability to meet current and future financial obligations in a timely and cost-effective manner • Establish systems that reduce holdings of non-earning cash balances to minimum levels while still providing adequate liquidity • Optimize “cash conversion cycles” and “float” • Assist in obtaining both short- and long-term borrowed funds in a timely manner and at an acceptable cost • Use credit facilities to fund corporate cash shortages • Monitor and control exposure to interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk and other financial risks • Utilize technology to streamline the cash management process • Build domestic and international banking relationships to support global cash management • Understand their company’s internal policies/processes and external variables that impact cash management Who Should Attend • Technical and administrative staff supporting the corporate financial function • Those executing finance or treasury functions • Those preparing for the AFP’s Certified Treasury Professional certification exam The AFP Learning System: Treasury, Instructor-Led Course Covers Seven Modules: • Cash Management in the U.S. Financial Environment • Accounting Principles and Financial Analysis Concepts • The Payments System and Funds Outflow Management • Funds Inflow Management • Investments and Loan Management • International Treasury and Financial Risk Management • Technologies and Bank Relationships Management Fees* $1,195 Please call for group discounts. *Includes all classroom materials, as well as access to web-based testing with over 400 test questions and real-life interactive applications. Certification Exam The CTP examination is made up of 150 multiple-choice questions and is designed to measure the knowledge required to perform the finance and treasury management functions in today’s business environment. The CTP computer-based exam is administered during two annual testing windows in more than 250 test centers.
