If you are a human resource professional interested in earning the most respected certification in the Human Resource field then this is the program to assist you in reaching your goal! Enroll in this rigorous ten-week, one-night-per-week program and take the first step in laying the foundation to prepare you for the PHR^® (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR^® (Senior Professional in Human Resources) Certification exams. You will gain a solid foundation and the comprehensive knowledge to effectively manage the HR challenges that you face in today’s demanding workplace. The SHRM^® Learning System is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management. (SHRM^®)

SHRM^® Learning System course participants consistently achieve higher pass rates on both certification exams than those who use other study methods. Northeastern University was recently recognized by SHRM as a program that had a 100% student pass rate on SPHR^® (Dec. 2005-Jan. 2006 exam window)!

Courseware
The courseware reflects the body-of-knowledge tested by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) for the PHR and SPHR levels of certification. The course, however, does not guarantee or ensure success on the HRCI exam. This program will give a solid foundation in the preparation to take the exams.

All of our instructors are certified HR professionals (SPHR) and are industry practitioners that are faced with the very situations that this program helps to avoid. Learn from their real-world experience in conjunction with the classroom materials.

Test Eligibility
In order to sit for either the PHR or SPHR exam for designation candidates must have two-years of exempt-level employment experience in the Human Resource field as a HR practitioner, educator, researcher, or consultant.
