Leadership is a learned and valuable skill. To work successfully with people so that they produce desired results while feeling respected and motivated is a challenge. Your ability to effectively coach and motivate teams and individuals is critical to your success as a leader and the success of your working group. This interactive program focuses on the skills, qualities, techniques, and tools needed to effectively lead teams and individuals.

Who Should Attend
Anyone who is responsible for managing, leading, or guiding a group of people who are working together.

What You Will Learn
• Identify and analyze what it takes to be an outstanding leader
• Understand and develop leadership skills, behaviors, and qualities
• Utilize specific facilitation tools that will enable teams and work groups to perform at their best
• Adapt the different styles of leadership, analyze the maturity and the needs of the individual, and respond in a manner that focuses on and leads to successful outcomes
• Understand basic concepts of individual and team motivation
• Create intra-team commitment using successful facilitation and consensus building techniques
• Shift from “directing” to “facilitating,” knowing when it is important to remain neutral
• Develop skills and techniques to keep individuals focused and on track
• Expand your ability to deal with difficult situations and individuals
• Assess your own leadership needs and develop a plan for ongoing improvement
