PMP® Examination Preparation
Course Code: PDP 5140


This course is designed to present the best management practices for self and group study preparation for PMI®’s certification exam: Project Management Professional (PMP®). You’ll have the opportunity to create a baseline assessment of the test readiness, a thorough and complete review the theory of Project Management as detailed in PMI®’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and a final assessment with personal study strategies. You’ll work in hands-on environment with the five process areas, the nine knowledge areas, and the 39 processes contained in PMBOK®.

Who Should Attend
Anyone with in an interest in gaining PMP® certification from PMI® and meets the minimum testing standards created by PMI®. Please visit PMI Web site for certification requirements.

What You Will Learn
• A complete understanding of the PMP® Certification Exam registration requirements and registration process
• Baseline assessment of fifty exam-like questions to provide insight to test readiness
• A complete review of the PMBOK® by process group
• An introduction to important test areas and concepts that are not found in the PMBOK®, yet are expected for exam success
• A final classroom exam assessment of one hundred exam-like questions that will provide the attendee with the ability to develop a personal test strategy for success
• Discussion of test taking and passing strategies

• Develop personal skills that provide the foundation for success in passing the PMP® exam the first time
• Complete review of the PMI® PMBOK® by process area, that covers the knowledge areas and processes that are contained following: Initiating processes, planning processes, executing processes, controlling processes, closing processes

• Presentation of key topics areas of information that are not included in the PMBOK®, yet are a part of the examination criteria
