Project Management Simulation
Course Code: PDP 5151


This workshop will provide a comprehensive simulation of complex decisions typically encountered in the project environment. Using a simulation tool, you will work in small groups to plan a project, allocate resources, and then assess the impact of their decisions made during the life of the project. You will experience making tradeoffs on quality, customer satisfaction, schedule, and budget in a fun and engaging environment. You will see both the short term and long term impact of decisions and have an opportunity to reflect on your decision making process.

Who Should Attend
Project managers and project leaders will benefit from the opportunity to assess the impact of their project decisions in a realistic, but safe, project environment. Functional managers will benefit from the opportunity to apply their management skills to a project environment.

Prerequisites
This class is suggested as the last class in the Project Management Certificate program. You must first complete the Essentials of Project Management or Managing IT Projects, the Project Risk, and Project Quality courses.
