Revive, Refresh, Restart your Nursing Career
Northeastern University's
Transition to Practice Program has been created specifically for the unique career development needs of registered nurses with active licenses, who have been away from clinical practice for an extended period of time, and who are now:
-
Facing a major life transition;
-
Ready to resume a new nursing career now that children have entered school; or
-
Tired of a desk job and yearning to re-enter the clinical nursing workforce.
The Transition to Practice Program is an 8-week nurse refresher program designed to bring your nursing skills up to date and give you the clinical and theoretical knowledge you need to qualify for a position in today's fast-paced nursing environment.
Students enrolled in Transition to Practice come to Northeastern University two days per week for coursework and skills lab. The classroom experience is supplemented with 120 hours of clinical experience, which begins mid-course and extends beyond the classroom experience.
If you are looking to revive, refresh or restart your nursing career, Transition to Practice is the springboard to achieving your professional goals.
Welcome back to nursing!
