Auto Damage Appraisal
Ten-weeks of evening study in preparation for the Massachusetts State Licensing
Examination approved by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. Northeastern
University's Automobile Damage Appraisal program offers the most comprehensive
examination preparation course - Part I for those who want to obtain their Automobile
Appraisal License. Our instructors combine real-world experience along with classroom
knowledge to prepare you to be successful. The program meets twice a week, 3 hours
per night, for 10 weeks. Throughout the program, students should expect to take
several quizzes to demonstrate knowledge transfer.
Upon successful completion, each student receives a completion certificate along
with five Continuing Education Units (CEU's).

*Throughout the program each instructor builds in time for a field trip to a
local garage. This provides students the opportunity to put their classroom experience
to the test in the real world.

$595 includes all classroom materials and textbooks.

Auto Claims Adjusting
This course is designed to assist auto claims adjusters employed by Massachusetts
insurance carriers in adjusting automobile damage claims and using their employers
policies and procedures. This course offers information to enhance the adjusters
ability to communicate with the insured and the repairer on the technical aspects
of a loss and the Massachusetts regulat Auto Claims Adjusting ENT 5103 (c) ions
that affect claims handling.
Topics include, Massachusetts Auto Insurance Policy (Physical Damage Only), Auto
Appraisal Regulations, Elementary Crash Book Usage, Industry Nomenclature, N.A.D.A.,
Analyzing Auto Damage Appraisals, Fraudulent Claims, Gray Market Vehicles and,
Subrogation Overview.

Instructors are experienced, real-world practitioners from the automotive and
insurance industries. All of the instructors are licensed by the State and can
provide students with the classroom knowledge as well as the test taking experience.
